The grapes grow on the slopes of the Hawequa Mountains. The special microclimate and the
low yields result in a complex and concentrated wine.
Crimson coloured, aromas of sweet violets, pencil shavings and dark fruit. Harmonious
multi-layered vanilla, ripe cherry, oak and plum, rich and smooth on the pallet, elegant tannins,
finishing with a satisfying lingering finish.
The wine matures in new and once-used barrels followed by a maturation in the bottle.
